Description

You Think You Know the RAU…

The RAU is undergoing a transformation and refining our offering to better address the changing needs of the global land based economy. Central to this are our core values: we are collaborative – working together and inspiring each other, open-minded and committed to listening to everyone, resourceful with creative approaches to achieving our goals, responsible by taking accountability with integrity and inclusive through our commitment to equality and respect for diversity.

We are now looking to appoint a Director of Academic & Student Services and Academic Registrar to provide leadership to our registry, academic quality and governance, admissions, student support, employability and enterprise, and academic partnerships services. As the RAU looks to grow and diversify our educational offering and student body, the Director of Academic & Student Services will help to ensure the RAU’s academic and student administration remain effective and efficient, and that all RAU students are given the support they require to thrive throughout their university journey and beyond.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced higher education senior or middle manager with a track record of delivering strategically aligned transformative change for the student experience and/or academic administration.  You will be an inclusive leader of high-performing, student-centred teams with thorough knowledge of the policy, legislative, regulatory and constitutional frameworks within which small, specialist institutions operate.

You will be student-centred, data-driven and committed to finding new and innovative approaches to continually improving services that enable the RAU’s vision to become the leading specialist university providing a fresh perspective for the land, agri-food and rural enterprise sectors.
